What can I expect for a 14 day trek at the end of december? Cant find any info on people commenting on trekking that time of year.... I know the pro should be less people around but I am worried about the cold conditions, especially in the night....

Agree. It was really cold in April! It got down well below minus with snow a couple of days. Would be very tough at even colder temperatures.
