The summer of Ben Shelton continued this week as the former Florida Gator became the youngest American in two decades to win a Masters 1000 tournament

TORONTO — Ben Shelton, the American rising talent and world No. 7, made his first Grand Slam semifinal at the 2023 U.S. Open as a 20-year-old. Two years later, the box office showman has his maiden ATP Masters 1,000 title.

Ben Shelton became the first American to win an ATP Masters 1000 title in Canada in more than two decades as he defeated Karen Khachanov 6-7 (5/7), 6-4, 7-6 (7/3) in Toronto final on Thursday.
