Several Georgia Lottery players are celebrating big wins this week, with jackpots and prizes totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars awarded across multiple games.

A Georgia lottery player has over half a million new reasons to celebrate Independence Day. The lucky player hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, winning $567,689 in the July 4 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said. The ticket, sold in Carrollton, matched all five numbers.

On July 4, someone hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot and won $567,689, the Georgia Lottery said. That ticket was sold at a BP station in Carrollton. Winners in Georgia have 180 days to claim prizes on draw games and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the lottery’s website says.

Clerks at the BP Convenience Store on Dawson Road in Albany say they sold a $3 million scratch-off lottery ticket two days ago. The $30 ticket was part of the $3,000 Festive Frenzy” game. It was one of three tickets printed with the top prize. So far, only one of those winning tickets has been claimed.
