Grant Sputore ('I Am Mother') is directing the creature feature that is part of Legendary's MonsterVerse franchise.

The "Godzilla x Kong" movies are gloriously-dumb, delightfully-fun movies. This is very much a compliment. Now, the "MonsterVerse" brought to us by Legendary Pictures didn't start that way. "Godzilla" tried to be serious.

Legendary's new 'Godzilla x Kong' film has added Jack O'Connell in an undisclosed role. He'll star alongside Kaitlyn Dever and Dan Stevens.
