James Carter Cathcart, a performer best known for his voice work in the “Pokémon” franchise, died Tuesday at the age of 71.

卡斯卡特先生是英语版《宝可梦》动画系列中多位标志性角色的声音灵魂。他第一次为宝可梦系列献声是《超梦的逆袭》中的海男，后来慢慢的接替各类角色的配音。从第九季开始，他更是一人分饰三角，同时为大木博士（Professor Oak）、火箭队的喵喵（Meowth）和小次郎（James）配音。 在整个2000年代和2010年代，除了这些主力角色外，他还为动画中众多其他宝可梦角色赋予了声音。
