Doctor Salvador Plasencia has now been sentenced in connection with the death of Matthew Perry.

A Los Angeles federal judge on Wednesday sentenced Dr Salvador Plasencia to two and a half years in prison for illegally selling ketamine to Matthew Perry in the weeks before the actor’s death.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who operated an urgent-care clinic outside Los Angeles, pleaded guilty in federal court in July to four felony counts of illegal distribution of the prescription anesthetic.
