Charles Leclerc branded Max Verstappen’s actions “stupid” after accusing him of not slowing under double-waved yellows in the closing laps of the Mexican Grand Prix.
Currently, Oscar Piastri leads Lando Norris by 14 points. However, Red Bull star and reigning champion Max Verstappen is threatening to take the title away from McLaren. Having trailed by more than 100 points before the summer break, the Dutchman has cut the gap to Piastri to just 40 points after winning three out of the last four races.
Verstappen’s taste of Ferrari glory came in the Italian auto manufacturer’s 296 GT3 car at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany. The Dutchman teamed up with British racer Chris Lulham to represent Emil Frey Racing at the four-hour event.
