MLB's sluggers are targeting a number of home run records in 2025, and we're keeping track of their progress for the rest of the season.

After already setting the record for most home runs by a catcher, Cal Raleigh made even more history for the Mariners with his 50th home run.

Each of Raleigh's last three home runs each have created history of their own. No. 48 tied Kansas City's Salvador Perez (2021) for the most home runs by a catcher in a single season, the first of Raleigh's two-homer game against the Athletics on Sunday afternoon. No. 49 landed an inning later, when he set a new mark in an 11-4 win.

The Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers will be playing in an important three-game series for each squad. The Dodgers are tied atop the NL West standings with the San Diego Padres and will be looking to avoid having to play in the Wild Card round.

It's Monday, August 25 and the Reds (68-63) are in Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers (74-57). Hunter Greene is slated to take the mound for Cincinnati against Emmet Sheehan for Los Angeles. This is the first meeting of the season between the Reds and Dodgers.
