A representative from Shopify has confirmed Ye’s Yeezy website did not disappear on its own. In a statement to CNN, the e-commerce company that hosts the online shop explained that the rapper, born Kanye West, was in violation of terms set to use its platform.

In reference to the removal of the Yeezy website, a Shopify spokesperson stated, “All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify.”

The website run by Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, is offline after selling swastika shirts. Shopify, the ecommerce platform, said the site violated its terms of service.
