Fox News host Jesse Watters revealed on Monday that his own mother, Anne, was among the millions of Americans who took to the streets this weekend for the “No Kings” rallies protesting President Donald Trump ’s policies. “I know my mom was there,” Watters said during Monday’s broadcast of “The Five.”
Millions of Americans turned out Saturday at more than 2,500 “No Kings” rallies across the U.S. to protest what participants called President Donald Trump’s increasingly authoritarian governance. Organizers estimated that nearly 7 million people participated, about 2 million more than at the first “No Kings” protests in June.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a middle-aged man who interjected himself into Denver’s downtown No Kings demonstration, shouted expletives and a slur, then fell in a street fracas and suffered a serious injury. The assault occurred after the older man declared: “‘Yes Trump,’” according to a Denver Police report.
