Amazon Web Services on Wednesday introduced a new service that allows developers to build and move workflow-based applications across cloud-based systems, on-premise systems, or a combination of both.

Users of Amazon Web Services will soon be able to orchestrate workflows across different AWS services and their own internal resources, using a new orchestration engine called the AWS Data Pipeline.
