From a 19th-century schooner to the famous Andrea Gail, mourning those lost to the sea has become a familiar ritual in Gloucester.

Andrea Gail Hairston, 68, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
