A seaside escape is always a popular summer activity, particularly for Fourth of July festivities, but with potentially harmful bacteria in various bodies of water, some beaches could be closed this holiday.

One Cape May County beach is under a swimming advisory Tuesday for high bacteria levels, officials said. Bennett Beach in North Wildwood City has been put on a swimming advisory, according to the New Jersey Beach Monitoring Program.
