The Boss is now singing directly from the streets of Minneapolis. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bruce Springsteen sang his protest song, “Streets of Minneapolis,” at the titular city’s First Avenue Club as part of the A Concert of Solidarity & Resistance to Defend Minnesota!
Morello’s set included Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name,” and a rendition of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land is Your Land,” which he was joined on by Rise Against, Reilly, and Di Meola. Rise Against, meanwhile, covered Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.”
