You can't go wrong trying the Custom Cursor app because it's 100% free with no once-off costs or subscriptions required.
Windows has a fine set of default aero cursor set or mouse pointers. But if you feel like a change and would like to replace them with a customized set, you can change cursors easily in Windows 11/10.
When I was using Excel 2003, I could easily adjust which direction the cursor would move—either to the right or down—after I entered data in a cell. But Office 2007 doesn’t seem to give me a choice.
