The six-year-old Nile hippopotamus, Timothy awakens from his slumber at San Antonio Zoo, Texas, sending a school of African cichlid fish who had been nibbling on him scuttling away to safety.

Fiona the four-year-old Nile hippo snuggled up to the glass at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden in Ohio. Hippos can hold their breath for five minutes and surface for air while still asleep.

The video captured the angry hippo running behind the safari jeep trying to attack it. People onboard recorded the incident on camera and the visuals have gone viral on social media.
