I want to create a JavaScript bookmarklet for Chrome. When pressed, it retrieves the current URL of the current page. It also retrieves the title of the page.

Chrome uses different terminology to accomplish the same things, with one exception. Chrome will allow you to create a “shortcut” to the app, with the option to create a separate window or not.
