NASA’s 3I/ATLAS Silence Tests Public Trust in Space Science
Could the greatest threat to cosmic discovery be silence, not secrecy? The case of 3I/ATLAS, the third interstellar object ever detected, has become more than an astronomical curiosity it has evolved into a litmus test for how science engages with the public it serves.
