TikTok acknowledged that some users experienced slower load times or lower views and like counts on videos.
Shortly after TikTok transitioned its U.S. arm to fall under complete U.S. ownership, U.S.-based users started to report disruptions with the app. Many U.S. users said the app was “broken” as they found it difficult to upload videos, with uploads marked “under review” that have not yet gone live, according to The Verge.
Some users had accused the app of blocking them from posting videos about Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The app said it was a power outage issue.
