As of 7:15 a.m. Saturday, here's the latest forecast for Fayetteville from the National Weather Service in Raleigh. Saturday: An 80% chance of snow, mainly after 9 a.m. and possible new snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. High near 25 with wind chills as low as 10. Winds around 16 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Parts of southern New Jersey, particularly closest to the Jersey Shore, could get a dusting to 2 inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday.
The National Weather Service placed a winter storm warning for Knoxville, lasting from 1 p.m. on Jan. 30 through 1 a.m. on Feb. 1. The warning projects snow accumulation "between 3 to 9 inches" with winds of 35 mph.
