Dangerously cold temperatures hold throughout the week. High temperatures will stay nearly 30 degrees below normal.
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Tri-State is waking up to several inches to a foot of snow on the ground, dangerous cold temps and slick roads to start the work week. Just over 9 inches (9.2) was officially recorded Sunday at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).
North Texas entered the work week in freezing temperatures as cold air blanketed the region for a third day and Dallas-Fort Worth hit a record for snowfall. On Monday afternoon, DFW International Airport hit 32 degrees.

Philly snow forecast: Double-digit snowfall totals expected this weekend with freezing cold temps
Double-digit snowfall totals are expected in Philadelphia and parts of the suburbs from a weekend storm that will bring freezing cold temperatures along with it.
Due to the incoming Arctic air, the NWS has issued a cold weather advisory for the entire state of New Hampshire and an extreme cold watch for Coos, Grafton, Carroll and Belknap counties, warning that frostbite and hypothermia can happen in as little as 10 minutes if skin is exposed to these temperatures.
The cold weather arrived with vengeance Friday morning in Kansas City, with temperatures dropping into the single digits.
A winter storm continues to impact Oklahoma, bringing hazardous road conditions, snowfall and dangerous cold to most of the state this weekend.
