USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie scored a stunning goal in the first half of the UEFA Champions League's knockout between Juventus and PSV at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, with the American international opening the score at the minute 34 of the first leg.

Typically, if soccer fans hear that an American scored a wicked goal in European competition, their minds will immediately think of Christian Pulisic. But not Tuesday.

Weston McKennie fired Juventus in front with a powerful strike from the edge of the box that could've punctured the net.

It sent Juventus on the way to a hard-fought 2-1 win over the resilient Dutch side, with substitute Samuel Mbangula grabbing the winner in the 82nd for his first Champions League goal. The 26-year-old McKennie has a decent return of 11 goals in 58 games for the U.
