Shilo Sanders, son of Colorado coach and NFL Hall of Famer Deion “Prime Time” Sanders made headlines during Saturday’s preseason matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills.

Sanders posted one tackle in a win over the Tennessee Titans, two tackles in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and one tackle in the loss to the Bills before he was ejected. He was also penalized for pass interference prior to the ejection.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reportedly informed rookie safety Shilo Sanders that he will be waived later Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Sanders’ release comes one day after the former Colorado defensive back was ejected for punching a Buffalo Bills player in their final preseason game.
