三星显示（Samsung Display）近日宣布，计划在其8.6代OLED生产线中导入 低温多晶硅 (LTPO) 薄膜晶体管（TFT）技术。这一举措预示着三星显示在OLED面板技术上的战略调整，旨在增强其在笔记本电脑和显示器市场上的竞争力。据悉，新产线预计将在明年第四季度实现设备就位，主要设备为 准分子激光退火（ELA） ，这是实现LTPO TFT的关键设备。

IT之家 10 月 21 日消息，市场调查机构 Digitimes 今天（10 月 21 日）发布博文，报道称 LG Display 为满足苹果下一代 iPhone 的需求，斥资 7000 亿韩元（现汇率约合 34.96 亿元人民币）改造扩建其韩国坡州（Paju）的 AP4 生产线。

据悉，LG Display 计划从明年第一季度开始投资 AP4 生产线。部分合作伙伴已于今年第四季度收到采购订单 (PO)。位于坡州P9工厂内的AP4工厂主要量产中小型LTPO（低温多晶氧化物）OLED面板。
