A loom has been set up in the library’s lobby, and anyone is welcome to stop in and add their own line of yarn to the collaborative art piece.
"Textile weaving is physically demanding, and in this regard, men tend to have a bit more of an advantage," he said.
Viewers are invited to contribute to a communal weaving at an exhibition celebrating the work of Becky Johnson, a textile artist and KU grad student who died last year.
