A washout has closed the only access road to the Olympic National Park’s popular Hoh Rain Forest since December.

Washington state will fund repairs to the Upper Hoh Road, which washed out late last year. “Heavy rains washed out part of the road in December and the road has been closed ever since,” Gov. Bob Ferguson said during a press conference in Seattle on Thursday.
