Fayetteville police are investigating an early morning homicide near Bragg Boulevard. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, at 2:40 a.m. Feb. 21, officers responded to the area of Bragg Boulevard and Winston Avenue for a homicide investigation. An individual was located and pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.

Officers are investigating after a body was found overnight lying on the side of the road in Fayetteville early Friday morning, police said.
