Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg opens up about NBA debut

Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd doubled down on his decision regarding rookie point guard Cooper Flagg.
Flagg had a slow start in his NBA debut, going scoreless in the first half after missing his first two shots. He would score his first career points with 11:42 left in the third quarter. The rookie struggled to find his stride in the second half but did put together a double-double performance with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg was so "locked in" on Friday night that he didn't even hear the "Fire Nico" chants at the AAC.
LeBron James praises Cooper Flagg’s situation in Dallas, saying he can develop like Kawhi Leonard under the guidance of veterans.
The NBA’s No. 2 pick and son of former NBA star Ron Harper played in his first professional game. His girlfriend stole the show, though.
