Winter Weather Advisories are in effect through 6 a.m. Wednesday morning as we could begin to see accumulating sleet and freezing rain in some areas by the late afternoon, continuing into Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Mixed sleet and rain in Boston will be transitioning to all rain. Across Worcester County and northern Middlesex County, freezing rain and sleet will be the primary precipitation types. Rain falls over Cape Cod and Southeastern Mass.
