Apple's newest iPads are the 2025 iPad Pro (M5), 2025 standard iPad (A16), 2025 iPad Air (M3), and 2024 iPad Mini (A17 Pro).
The M5 iPad Pro comes equipped with Apple’s new N1 wireless chip. N1 first debuted in the iPhone 17 line, and now it’s part of the high-end iPad Pro. Wi-Fi 7 support is enabled by N1, while the M4 iPad Pro was limited to Wi-Fi 6E. N1 also features Bluetooth 6 (up from 5.3) and Thread support.
