The standard iPhone 17 (non‑Pro) will reportedly retain much of the same exterior look as the iPhone 16. However, the newly branded iPhone 17 Air is rumored to be significantly slimmer—around 2 mm thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro—offering a sleeker and lighter build, per India Today.

Apple is anticipated to unveil its iPhone 17 series—comprising the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max—sometime in September.

It’s now over a month since iOS 26 was announced, and although it’s available in developer beta, the public beta is yet to launch. But we do now have a good idea of when the first public beta might land.

The iPhone 17 Pro will probably also be available in at least one new shade, with one leak suggesting Apple is considering using one of the three colors pictured below.
