Drones returned to La Jolla to put on a show for the third year July 4 to commemorate the nation’s Independence Day.

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club will hold its third annual eco-friendly drone show along with two homespun neighborhood parades.

Now in its third year, the La Jolla Fourth of July drone show will feature 500 drones creating a 15-minute patriotic display starting at 9 p.m. on Friday.
