Liverpool are in the market for sales with forwards Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott being allowed to seek moves this summer. Liverpool are understood to want at least £50million for Diaz, which is above the budget Bayern and Barcelona have available.

During Barcelona ’s pursuit of Díaz, Liverpool were said to be demanding a fee of €80 million (£68.6 million, $94.1 million) to sell the 28-year-old—a significant sum but one which is feasible for Bayern, who made no secret of their desire to exceed that fee and sign Wirtz earlier this summer.

According to a report from Cadena SER’s Antón Meana (via @iMiaSanMia), there is a “gentleman’s agreement” between Liverpool FC and Luis Díaz for the attacker to leave the club if an offer of €80 million is presented to the club.
