EUGENE - The rain fell, the passing game fizzled and Wisconsin’s defense showed up to make Saturday’s game on a chilly evening at Autzen Stadium more interesting than most imagined, given No. 6 Oregon was favored by 31 points.

That is the pettiest start to a game we've seen all season. Oregon clearly had very little concern that Wisconsin could slow down this onside kick attempt. What could have ended in disaster gave the Ducks an early spark. Whew, that's absolutely brutal for Wisconsin.
