The Vatican said Francis hadn't had any more respiratory crises since Saturday night but was still receiving high flows of supplemental oxygen.

Pope Francis returned to social media more than a week after he was hospitalized and diagnosed with double pneumonia, and remains in critical condition.

"Is he out of danger? No. But if the question is 'is he in danger of death,' the answer is 'no," said the doctor of Pope Francis.
