Nike's move to appeal to more female athletes continued with its first Super Bowl ad in 27 years.

Clark is the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer and has taken the basketball world by storm. Clark’s generational talent has helped bring new interest to women’s basketball at both the college and professional level. She has her own Nike signature shoe in the works, as the Deseret News previously reported.

The last time Nike showed an ad during the Super Bowl was in 1998, featuring all-male athletes. It wouldn't be until 27 years later — in 2025 — that Nike would invest in a Super Bowl ad again, this time featuring all-female athletes.

Nike unveiled its first Super Bowl commercial since 1998 during Sunday’s NFL broadcast. Created by Wieden+Kennedy Portland, the 60-second piece features eight high-profile female athletes and is part of the rollout of a new ad campaign titled “So Win.”
