Honoring the annual national tradition, the Lake County commissioners again have unanimously adopted a resolution proclaiming March as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in Lake County.

Traditionally, the mayor reads and signs proclamations for the city. City code also says the mayor will sign proclamations.
