Skies were clear as fireworks were launched from two barges on San Francisco Bay on Friday night, undeterred by a warehouse tragedy in Yolo County earlier in the week.

Rain is in the forecast for much of the Fourth of July, but it isn't expected to impact the fireworks shows scheduled for Friday evening. Oklahoma City has a 30% chance or higher of precipitation until 6 p.m., while cities like Clinton, Lawton, Seymour and Vernon will remain near a 50% chance for much of the daylight hours.
