With so many changes across the government in recent weeks, including thousands of federal workforce layoffs, some Americans are wondering if they will have to get a Real ID in two months.

Time is running out to get a REAL ID, which will soon be required to travel domestically. REAL ID was put into place by the REAL ID Act after 9/11 but its enforcement had been postponed several times.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Transportation officials are warning people that the clock is ticking to get your REAL ID. They held a news conference on Monday at Philadelphia International Airport.

If it's been a few years, you'll probably have to get it updated. You can tell by looking at your license: If there is a gold, black or white star in the upper-right corner, you have a Real ID.
