我国也正在积极推进2G/3G网络关停。今年，多个省份的运营商发布了2G或3G网络将有序退网的公告。一位省级运营商从事2G/3G退网工作的人士告诉《IT时报》记者，去年底就完成了大部分旧网络拆除，今年5月份前完成了设备资产报废。

泄露文件显示，LTE 退役计划将很快启动，并在未来两年内逐步实施。到 2028 年，大部分 LTE 网络预计将关闭，仅保留一条 5MHz 宽的信道。到 2035 年，这部分残留 LTE 也将完全退网。
