Bears general manager Ryan Poles has long believed the strengths of this NFL Draft class have matched up well with his team’s positional needs. That continues to be the case in his mind, with even more optionality after the Bears’ recent additions.

Head coach Ben Johnson and his staff figure to have a say in matters, too. They have worked with Poles over the past two weeks in acquiring offensive linemen Joe Thuney Jonah Jackson and Drew Dalman, defensive linemen Dayo Odeyingbo and Grady Jarrett and backup tight end Durham Smythe.
