Real Madrid forward Rodrygo said he is grateful for the interest from other clubs but wants to stay with the LaLiga side for many years to come. Rodrygo has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 31 games for Real across all competitions this season and the 24-year-old Brazilian was reportedly the recipient of lucrative mid-season offers from clubs in the Saudi Arabian league.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti believes the winner of his side's Champions League play-off clash with Manchester City will be among the favourites to lift the trophy.Ancelotti expressed his surprise at that run but believes City still have the players and coach to do damage to the Champions League holders.

The first leg of the play-off-round tie between the two European heavyweights takes place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said his side were well aware of Real Madrid's habit of producing their best in tough times, with a string of injuries having depleted the visitors' defence ahead of Tuesday's Champions League playoff.
