Peoria Chiefs’ field renovation ahead of schedule
Four weeks into a major field renovation project, the Peoria Chiefs say construction at Dozer Park is running ahead of schedule. Crews began tearing out the 23-year-old field surface in September and are now replacing it.
On Monday, officials approved an additional $21 million in costs. The Public Works Department said these costs were anticipated.
