A 19-year-old woman says she was held against her will after she was hired for a dog sitting job in Southbridge.

A Massachusetts man was charged in connection with a woman's kidnapping inside a home after she was requested to watch a dog via a dog-walking app.

A Southbridge man was arraigned in court Monday and charged with kidnapping after allegedly blocking a female dogwalker from leaving his house, Southbridge Police said in a press release.

Police have released video of an attempted kidnapping of a woman outside a St. Augustine, Florida, business. 18-year-old Emma Marine was able to fight off her attacker, who is now in custody, and is now speaking about the incident for the very first time.
