Kristin Davis didn’t love every drama the Sex and The City writers threw at her character Charlotte York. The actress, 60, admitted on the Thursday, March 13 episode of her podcast “Are You a Charlotte?” that there was one plot she didn’t want to film.

Kristin Davis revealed that she recently ran into the Sex and the City alum—he played her character Charlotte York’s first husband in seasons three and four—and that he shared insight into why he said no to appearing on the sequel series And Just Like That.

On a recent episode, Davis shared the storyline from SATC —which ran from 1998 to 2004—that she “hated” so much she pleaded not to do it. At one point, Davis and co-star Evan Handler (who plays Charlotte’s second husband Harry Goldenblatt on the show) end up on the bathroom floor after what was supposed to be a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.

"But then, in the way that it played out, in terms of Miranda getting pregnant by mistake, deciding to have the baby with Steve, Charlotte not being able to get pregnant with her super-adorable husband — that was the whole purpose of getting married — it really worked out so perfectly."
