Crews with the Long Beach Fire Department were dispatched to a city park after a small plane crashed landed in the area. Details are extremely limited and it’s unclear what caused the plane to crash and exactly what time it came down.

The pilot declared an emergency about three miles east of Long Beach Airport, then later said he didn’t think he’d make it to the runway.
