Also known as the original 1981 Donkey Kong, Cranky Kong only seems to have gotten stronger with age. He doesn't look it, as he usually spends his days rocking in his chair, yelling at DK, Diddy, and company about how he could have beaten their feats in a better, faster, and stronger way. But he has put his money where his mouth is in a few games.

The Nintendo San Francisco store is holding its third major event since it opened in May with the launch of “Donkey Kong Bananza.” The game marks the popular character’s second foray in a 3D platformer, and it’s also the second major first-party game built specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2.
