A pit bull fatally attacked a 1-year-old girl last week in Tuscarawas County. Sheriff Orvis L. Campbell said deputies were called out just before 6 p.m. on July 2 to a home on Lake Road in Dover Township for a dog attack.

A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after she was attacked by a dog in Hialeah, police said. According to Hialeah Police, the woman, who they said was in her 50s, was in the 1100 block of West 50th when she was attacked by the dog.
