A 39-year-old man was gunned down Monday evening in South Philadelphia, police said. Authorities said the man, identified Tuesday as Eastwick resident Rasheen McKie, was shot at around 5:15 p.m.

A woman died after she was apparently struck by a vehicle that fled the scene early Wednesday morning in Kensington, authorities said.
