As the Nintendo Switch 2's largely secretive specs hit the news, comparisons have been made to many handheld gaming PCs, but it's not fair.

In terms of the Steam Deck, by way of comparison with another popular handheld of the moment, Valve reports their machine to have a battery life of between 2 and 8 hours. So this all seems fairly reasonable given that the Switch 2 and Steam Deck are very close on specs.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been revealed, and while it brings a huge improvement over the original console, it doesn’t exist in the same vacuum that the original handheld did. With the introduction of devices like the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally X, there are a ton of handheld gaming systems out there that can play AAA PC games on the go.

Tech manufacturer JSAUX has announced its line up of Nintendo Switch 2 accessories after yesterday's Nintendo Direct. With the console launching on June 5 and pre-orders opening April 9, this first batch is just a glimpse of more to come.
